I am running some silver clay workshops inspired by nature here at my studio in Marton. The workshops will cover making moulds, working with silver clay to create 2-3 pieces of jewellery, prepare and refine for firing, torch firing and polishing your pieces to take home.

All equipment, 10g Fine silver clay, 18” sterling silver trace chain and materials will be provided and plenty of tea, coffee and yummy cake. Chains and additional materials will be available to purchase if you’d like more. No previous experience is required and the workshops will welcome teenagers over the age of 14 accompanied by an adult.

Please bring some lunch with you on the day and maybe an apron to protect your clothes, long hair tied back.
For all enquiries please email or message me on Facebook or Instagram. Looking forward to meeting you, Sarah x

Who is the workshop for – This workshop is aimed at those with no little or no experience of working with Silver Clay.

What is Silver Clay - Precious Metal Silver clay is made up of very fine particles of recycled pure silver, water and a non toxic binder. When your piece is fired, the binder burns away, leaving you with solid fine silver. The process is truly magical. Art Clay fine (99.9%) silver will be used during this workshop.

Just home after a brilliant workshop making silver jewellery. Lovely ladies, very tasty lemon drizzle cake..and Sarah’s patient and clear instructions during the making and polishing of the final products. Some beautiful jewellery made, everyone’s unique to them. Thoroughly enjoyed the process..quite magical to see the final silver coming through. Really recommend this workshop. Will definitely be signing up to more. Thank you Sarah.
